Jen Sans8886 | Lead Designer

Jen Sans8886 is lead designer on Penguinette™ – a member of our Invisagill family of Breathable Waterwear™ that “works as well above ground as underwater.” She derives her inspiration from the desert villages outside of Adu Dhabi.  She observed “a minimalistic style with maximum environmental efficiency.”

Jen spent the last 12 months researching adaptable fabrics throughout the world, how they were used, how they looked, how they integrated into the cultures.

“There is a place outside Abu Dhabi where the flash floods find a perfect channel through narrow canyons, raising the water level above towns in a moments notice. I watched what they wore, how they effortlessly lived with the floods, and how their clothing thrived wet or dry. I was inspired… I hope the soul of Penguinette™ resonates with the wearer and they feel the freedom I experienced there.”
